On the Move: October
A look back at a busy month for the Discovery Movers team.

The October 2026 Blog
October was a busy one for the Discovery Movers team. From long-distance moves down to Glasgow to local moves around Dundee and full house clearances across Tayside and Fife, our vans have hardly had a day off. Here's a quick look at some of the jobs we've been proud to be part of this month.
Long distance
Dundee to Glasgow and Beyond
Glasgow was a popular destination this month. We helped customers move from Dundee, Broughty Ferry and Carnoustie to their new homes in Glasgow. On each job, we collected everything from the old property, loaded it carefully, drove it down via Perth and Stirling, and unloaded it safely at the new home.
Long-distance moves can feel daunting, but with the right team they don't have to be. We handle the planning, the heavy lifting and the driving, so all you have to do is settle in.
Local moves
Local Moves Around Dundee
Not every move is a long one. This month we moved a customer from Dundee out to Wellbank, and completed a removal on Baxter Park Terrace in Dundee. Short moves still need the same care. Every item is wrapped, secured and loaded properly, whether it's travelling five miles or eighty.
House clearances
House Clearances in Fintry, Dundee and St Andrews
Alongside our removals, we completed several house clearances this month, in Fintry and elsewhere in Dundee, and over in St Andrews. Whether it's a full property, a single room or a loft that's been building up for years, we clear it quickly and respectfully and leave the property ready for its next chapter.
House clearances are often needed at a difficult or busy time, so we keep the process simple and stress-free from start to finish.
